Student Threatens Shooting At Lyons Township High School: Police
He said he would make "Columbine look like a picnic," according to a report.

LA GRANGE, IL — A student from Brookfield in May threatened a shooting at Lyons Township High School's North Campus, La Grange police said.
Last week, Patch obtained the police report through a public records request.
Nathan R. Grant, 18, was charged with a threat of violence directed against a school, police said. The charge is listed as a felony under state law.

According to the police report, Grant said he would make "Columbine look like a picnic" during an angry outburst with his school social worker present.

Grant is alleged to have repeated the threat in front of the assistant principal, police said.
In 1999, two students at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, shot and killed 13 classmates. They pair then killed themselves.
