Man Who Went Missing From Brookfield Zoo Found: Cops

Riverside Twitter follower leads police to missing man.

RIVERSIDE, IL — A man who went missing after leaving angry from Brookfield Zoo on Saturday night has been found, Riverside police said Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, one of the Riverside Police Department's Twitter followers called the department and reported seeing Fredric Davis, 53, of Robbins, in the 400 block of West Madison in Chicago. Riverside police contacted Chicago police to check the area for Davis and about 4 p.m., Chicago police found him in front of CVS Pharmacy.

Davis was not hurt and did not need medical attention. Riverside police contacted the adult nursing facility from which Davis was missing. He had walked away from his caregivers at the zoo.
