McFun for LTHS McTeachers

Lyons Township High School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Westchester

On Thursday, October 13th, Lyons Township High School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Westchester. The Lyons Township McTeacher's Night was an extra special event because the funds raised are slated for Relay For Life. And what a great community the Lyons Township High School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting Relay For Life as well as waiting to see their teachers and a visit from Hamburglar.

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, serving ice cream and selling Pies.

The music was playing from a DJ while everyone wore pink beads around their neck. A highlight was when Assistant Principal Kris Costopoulos and Student Assistant Lydia Dominguez danced around the parking lot encouraging everyone to buy a pie to support Relay For Life.

Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. A special thank-you goes to Lyons Township Assistant Principal, Kris Costopoulos, who organized the entire event.
