Menopause The Musical heats up Copley Theater

There's a fun, girls-night-out production running through June 28.

You wouldn’t think menopause would be funny, but Menopause The Musical has spent 14 years touring the country making the audience laugh and cry. The story brings together four strangers who meet while shopping. As often happens, they start talking and entertainment ensues.

Weaving familiar songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s together, Menopause The Musical is a song-filled comedy that draws in the audience from the first song. The audience laughs, sways and lip-syncs the music along with the actors. It’s a celebration of “the change” that brings the audience together laughing at mood swings, hot flashes, night sweats and chocolate binges.

The show runs on stage from Wednesday to Sunday through June 28 at the 216-seat Copley Theater in Aurora. It’s an easy ride to downtown Aurora from anywhere in the Western suburbs. Tickets to the PG-rated show are $42 each. For tickets or more visit www.paramountaurora.com.
