Money Gone From La Grange Hospital Safe: Cops

The hospital preferred to handle the matter internally, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:

Missing from safe

  • A cash payment of $1,020 was reported missing Aug. 23 from the safe at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road. The hospital decided to handle the matter internallly. No police assistance was needed. The local hospital's latest formal name is UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange.

Stolen cat

  • A pet cat was stolen and an entry door was damaged when two former roommates got into an argument in the 10 block of West Burlington Avenue. The report was filed Aug. 25.

Go-kart theft

  • A custom go-kart was reported stolen Wednesday at DJM Automotive Group, 603 La Grange Road. An investigation continues.

Suspicious online activity

  • Several online merchants warned a resident in the 400 block of South Kensington Avenue about suspicious activity. The resident reported the issue Tuesday. No loss has been recorded.
