Hundreds of thousands across suburbs are still affected by outages.

LA GRANGE, IL — Nearly all the 1,900 ComEd customers in La Grange affected by outages after Monday's storm had their power back as of Tuesday morning, according to the utility's online map.

Only a few isolated outages remain, with five or 10 customers in each case affected, the map indicates. In southeastern La Grange, 305 customers were without power, but that situation appeared to straddle the border between La Grange and Countryside. La Grange's situation is far better than other suburbs. For instance, more than 6,400 were still affected by outages in Elmhurst as of Tuesday morning, according to ComEd. Those outages have no estimated restoration times.
