Nazareth Academy Appoints New President

The school has announced Deborah Vondrasek Tracy as the school's new President effective July 1, 2018.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Nazareth Academy announced the appointment of Deborah Vondrasek Tracy as the school’s new president, effective July 1, 2018. Tracy will succeed Dennis Moran, who intends to transition away from the role of school president at the end of this school year.

The school said Tracy currently serves as its principal and has held that role for the past 17 years. Under her leadership, Nazareth Academy has implemented a 1:1 iPad program for all students, introduced innovative special academic programs and continually focused on advancing academic offerings. Prior to becoming principal, Tracy spent six years as a teacher and campus minister. She is also an alum of Nazareth Academy, Class of 1982.

“It is a natural transition for Debbie to assume the role of president," Marianne Race, CSJ, member of the Board of Trustees and liaison to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, said in a release. "As an alum of our school and natural leader, Debbie is committed to the mission of Nazareth Academy, our students, families and alumni,”
