Nazareth Academy Football Heads To Quarterfinals

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Nazareth Academy has moved on to the quarterfinals of the IHSA Class 7A playoffs. Nazareth defeated #9 seed Hersey HS 49-14 on Nov. 3. In the first round, Nazareth also defeated #25 seed Andrew HS.

Now, Nazareth will face #1 seed Simeon (11-0) on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. The game will be played at Gately Stadium in Chicago. The winner of the game will face the winner of Willowbrook HS and Batavia in the semi-finals. Other teams left in the playoffs include: Mt. Carmel, East St. Louis, Wheaton-Warrenville South and St. Charles.
