A few years ago I had an office downtown with a lot of blah white walls. Working as a Creative Director in a design department of an ad agency kind of demanded that it be spruced up...and pronto. It had to be cute, it had to be funky.
Thus my happy stumble upon The Free Art Project.
Though it doesn't appear to have been updated in quite a while, it's still a fabulous resource for quirky-modern illustrations worthy of framing or even just pinning along a pretty piece of baker's twine.
Instant art wall on almost zero budget! A great touch for a dorm room or... Hey! Why not a laundry room? Or a garage? Why can't those sad, ignored spaces get a little fun art, too?
