Park Day, Obstacle Course Hosted By La Grange Park District

LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Park District will host its second Park Day of the summer on Wednesday, July 12 at Gilbert Park. According to the park district's website, the event will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. and is for children ages 6 to 12.

The park district will set up an obstacle course for the event. According to the website, attendees should bring a water bottle and gym shoes, as you will be sure to work up a sweat while having fun. The event will be canceled if there is inclement weather. A parent is also required to drop off children and provide a phone number in case of inclement weather, according to the park district.

There is one more remaining Park Day on Aug. 9 at Waiola Park.
