LA GRANGE, IL — The Park District of La Grange will open the new La Grange Fitness on Monday, Sept. 11. Membership registration for residents of La Grange and Countryside and non-resident registration has already started.
According to the park district, registration can only be done at La Grange Fitness. The state-of-the-art fitness facility will host several services including:
- 6,700 square feet of cardio and weight equipment
- 40 pieces of state of the art cardio equipment
- 30 pieces of weight equipment
- Personal trainers available and an assessment room
- Two climate controlled aerobic rooms
- Several flat screen TVs
- Men's and women's locker rooms with showers
- Personal lockers to rent on a yearly basis
- On-site childcare
- 1/8 mile indoor track
- Select aerobics classes will be included in the membership
The new fitness center will be located within the Recreation Center, 536 East Ave., in La Grange. The hours will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
