Person Calls Out To Kids Near La Grange School: Cops
The person was in a red SUV and may have been going through garbage, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange officers responded Wednesday morning after a resident reported that a person in a red SUV may have been calling out to students near Seventh Avenue School, police said.
The report came in shortly before 8 a.m., according to a La Grange police news release. Police said the caller was a resident walking a dog in the area.
School staff were notified right away and saw a car matching the description, police said. It appeared the person may have been going through garbage that had been placed out for La Grange Amnesty Week.

Officers were unable to find the car. The department said that, at this time, there is no indication that any illegal activity occurred.
