Person Injured In La Grange Shooting: Cops
The victim remains in stable condition, police said. Authorities have a person of interest.

LA GRANGE, IL – A person was shot Tuesday afternoon in east La Grange, police said.
It occurred about 2:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

A person of interest was found in a house in the 4100 block of Wenonah Avenue in Stickney, which is east of Lyons, according to a news release.
At first, the person of interest refused to surrender, police said. The Cook County Sheriff's Police SWAT team and several neighboring police departments helped.

After "lengthy attempts" to get the suspect to peacefully leave the house, the person did so, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
