Gun Implied In La Grange Park Fight: Cops
The school went on a "soft" lockdown for about 20 minutes, police said.
LA GRANGE PARK, IL – A person believed to have a weapon ended up in front of Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park on Friday morning, prompting the school to go on a "soft" lockdown, authorities said.
About 10 a.m., La Grange Park police were alerted to a traffic altercation involving a weapon near 31st Street and La Grange Road, according to a news release.
The suspect's car was found in front of the academy. Police told Patch that a gun was implied, but the suspect did not have one.

The suspect was arrested on an unrelated traffic warrant and taken back to the police station.
The school's lockdown lasted about 20 minutes, police said.

Western Springs and La Grange police helped in the incident, the release said.
