Pet Parade A Tradition In La Grange

The La Grange Pet Parade is celebrating 72 years in 2018, and will take place on June 2! Along with being a parade filled with entertainment acts, local non-profits (including pet rescue agencies) and business sponsors, the parade features annual costume contests. Traditionally kids 16 and under have been invited to participate in these contests, in which pet and owner dress up in a creative costume, but this year there are adult categories too. There are 4 categories to enter: Individual Kid 17 and under (with their pet), Individual Adult 18+ (with their pet), Kids Groups (with their pets), Family/Any Age Groups (with their pets). Cash and Gift Certificate Prizes will be awarded. Sign up must take place in person at the Park District of La Grange or the La Grange Public Library. Visit lagrangepetparade.org for details.
