Phone Theft, Graffiti: La Grange Cops
A hospital worker told police that someone stole her phone while she was working.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Phone theft
- An employee at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road, told police Tuesday that someone stole her phone from her cleaning cart. She said the phone and its case were valued at $1,000. The employee said she was cleaning several rooms when she was advised through her Bluetooth headphones that her phone was disconnected. She asked her husband to use the "Find My iPhone" app, but could not find it, apparently because it was turned off.

- Idea Studio, 515 S. La Grange Road, told police Tuesday that someone defaced its sign with red spray paint, with the words, "Never lie." A suspect was captured on a surveillance camera.
Allegations made
- A resident at the Bella Terrace La Grange nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road, told police over the weekend that another resident in the home stole a pistol and $120 to $200 from him. He gave the name of the suspect, but the staff told police that no resident went by the name in question. The employees also said the resident suffered from dementia.
DUI

- Angel Molina, 34, of Chicago, was cited about 3 a.m. Saturday at La Grange Road and Harding Avenue on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to signal when required.
Driving violations
- Eduardo Torres, 18, of La Grange Park, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at La Grange Road and Calendar Road on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding.
- Camaria Orr, 19, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at La Grange Road and Burlington Avenue on charges of driving an uninsured vehicle, vehicle registration suspended for no insurance and speeding 35 mph over the limit.
