Popular Shopping Event is Back with Free Swag Bags and Grand Prizes
La Grange retailers and restaurants cater to women in spring shopping promotion called Girlfriends Getaway
Need a break from the kids, the boss and the carpool? La Grange merchants are rolling out the red carpet and staying open late for Girlfriends Getaway, a retail promotion organized by the La Grange Business Association on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 2-8PM.
There will be plenty of opportunities to stroll, shop and socialize as 18 businesses offer special discounts, door prizes, refreshments and activities geared to women. Additionally, by visiting stores in specific locations, customers will have the opportunity to enter a grand prize drawing for a weekend stay at the Hyatt Regency Chicago hotel or a gift basket with items from selected merchants.
Featured attractions include painting events, complimentary salon treatments, trunk shows, food and beverage specials, wine tastings, in-store refreshments and complimentary digital photos.

As an added incentive, 100 women will receive a reusable tote bag filled with coupons and gift items. 50 tote bags will be distributed at 2PM and again at 6PM from the La Grange Business Association office at 26 S. La Grange Road.
The Dean Rouso Home Team is a sponsor of the event along with the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Shoppers can pick up a Girlfriends Getaway Passport with an event map and list of participating merchants at the La Grange Business Association office, 26 S. La Grange Road, La Grange Village Hall at 53 S. La Grange Road, at a participating business or online at lgba.com.
Participating businesses are: Active Souls; Anderson's Bookshop; Antonino's Ristorante; Bob Briskey Photography; Bottle and Bottega; Ceramic Art Cafe; Costco; Dolce Vita Day Spa; Within Reach Natural Healing; The Hope Chest; JAYNE; La Buona Vita; Olivaceto; Stockholm Objects; Silvermoon Salon; The Runner's Soul; Vino e Birra; and Vintage Charm.
