To enrich preschool and kindergarten educational experiences, Methodist Preschool of LaGrange is enrolling students ages three to six into enrichment programs that nurture intellectual curiosity, social emotional and physical development. Three opportunities are offered, STEM, Fine Arts/Gross Motor, and Musical Theater. Registration is still taking place on a first-come-first-enrolled basis.
The focus of the STEM program is to foster children's innate curiosity of the world. Mrs. Jackson, the curriculum director of the program, states, "We will explore many topics including force and motion, light and color, sound, magnets, chemistry and more, all through developmentally appropriate teaching strategies." The STEM class is offered to four- to six- years old students Monday through Thursday 12:30 - 3:00 and Friday 8:45 - 11:15. Spots are still available.
The Fine Arts/Gross Motor class provides a variety of mediums for three- to five- year old students to explore and create projects. The students will develop their fine and gross motor skills while producing inventive artwork and engaging in group games. Mrs. Georges, program developer and teacher, leads the children in kickball, four corners, parachute play and many other fun games. Fine Arts has openings on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12:30 - 3:00 and Friday morning 8:45 - 11:15.

Mrs. Baffico will promote confidence in voice and body by teaching valuable theater skills. Offered Thursday 12:30 - 3:00.
