Rash Of Car Break-Ins In La Grange Neighborhood: Cops

Police reported four burglaries in a single block in La Grange.

LA GRANGE, IL – A number of car burglaries were reported in the 500 block of South 10th Avenue, occurring overnight last Monday, La Grange police said.

Police said they were first called about 7 a.m. Tuesday about a diaper bag that was stolen from an unlocked parked car.

While responding to the call, officers said they saw two other parked cars that appeared to be ransacked in the same block. Notices were left for the registered owners to contact the police department.

Later in the morning, police received another report from the same block that an unlocked car's contents appeared to be disturbed. Nothing was reported stolen.
