Register now for Grand Avenue Summer Adventure Camps

Get your kids moving this summer and get a few hours to yourself with Grand Avenue Summer Adventure camps for children. Camps will run from June 8 through August 14 and are divided into three age-specific groups; “All Stars camp” for children entering 2nd-5th grade, “Champs camp” for children entering Kindergarten-1st grade and “Preschool Summer Camps” for children ages 3-5.

“All Stars” and “Champs” Adventure Camps offer half and full day options. An organic, catered lunch is provided for full day campers. Parents can choose two, three, four or five days a week of camp options.

All camps provide daily outdoor sports, weekly swimming trips and field trips to fun destinations including The Field Museum, Wild West Town and Cypress Cove Water Park. Children will enjoy a variety of themed camps throughout the summer that include “Young Inventors”, “Cartooning and storytelling inspired by Disney”, “Crazy Art Creations” and more.

“Preschool Summer Camps” offer half day camps on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and parents can choose morning or afternoon sessions. Preschool camps provide active, fun days that inspire the curiosity of your children ages 3-5. Each themed camp is two weeks in length. This year’s themes include “Disney on Parade”, “Artful Antics”, “By the Sea” and more.

Summer camps will be offered at two locations, Grand Ave Community Center in Western Springs and at the La Grange Highlands Elementary School. All summer camps are staffed by full-time, experienced Grand Avenue teachers who are certified in Red Cross CPR and First Aid.
