Resident Alarms La Grange Park Schools
The man's actions were "very unsettling" for students, staff and parents, officials said.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – A La Grange Park man was on a local campus using profanity and making comments that felt threatening to others, school officials said in a statement this week.
But they said the resident broke no laws.
The incident occurred Friday at the campus of Forest Road and Barnsdale Road schools. They are part of La Grange District 102.

In a statement Thursday, the police department said it would have an officer on campus through the end of the school year.
The resident's interactions have been with police and school administrators, not students, school officials said.

"At this time we have no information that would suggest there is any concern or threat to student safety," the schools said. "We understand that situations like this can be very unsettling for students, staff and parents. This is especially true when an individual is present around school property, but has not violated any rule or law that allows the school or the police to take action."
In their statement, the police described the man as "verbally unruly" and said he was served with a no-trespass notice at the school district's request. The department said it was aware of false narratives circulating in town.
Police said the man did not make any direct threats to the school or any person during their investigation. Nor did he have any weapons, police said.
