La Grange Restaurant Opening In July, Depending On Construction

The owners said they had long wanted to open in La Grange and jumped on the opportunity when space became available.

LA GRANGE, IL – A restaurant described as Mexican- and French-inspired is set to open next month in La Grange, according to village records.

The owners of Crepas Culichi in Oak Park plan to open a second restaurant at 50 S. La Grange Road in La Grange.

The owners are Estefany Garcia, Lorena de la Torre and Yency Garcia.

They also owned a location on Berwyn, but it closed in 2023.

Last month, the Garcias spoke to the Liquor Commission. They said they plan to offer breakfast, brunch and lunch to start and add dinner if demand exists, according to meeting minutes.

The restaurant is set to be open seven days a week.

The Garcias said they had long wanted to open in La Grange and that they moved quickly when the space became available.

They told village officials that their July opening depends on construction.

Crepas Culichi will be in the spot where Forbidden Noodles was for about seven years before it closed last fall.

Patch left a message for the owners Friday.

According to its website, Crepas Culichi is "a Mexican and French-inspired restaurant featuring vintage aesthetics, gleaming chandeliers and cozy accents."
