5K Race starts at 8:00 am

Kid Fun Run starts at conclusion of 5K

Celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the “Run For The Roses” on Saturday, May 17, 2014.  Fun Run starts at conclusion of 5K.  We will have a clown for entertaining the youngsters, a moonwalk for all to enjoy, and a DJ for music throughout the event.  The start/finish line for this great 5K event is in the 900 block of Forest Road, in front of the school.  Food and drink will be provided for all.  Tee shirts provided to the first 500 registered participants. Race packets will be available for those who pre-register at the Recreation Center, 1501 Barnsdale Road, on Friday May 16, from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm.  On race day, pre-registered race packets will be available at the start/finish line at Forest Road School.  All proceeds will benefit the Park District’s scholarship fund. A registration form can be downloaded from our website or they are available in our office.

NOTE: Race day registration will be held from 6:30 am to 7:35 am at the start/finish line, Forest Road School, 901 Forest Road, LaGrange Park. Check or cash only.

ALSO:  Registration for “Kid Fun Run” will be held on race day.  Race is free but all children must be registered.
