A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Northeastern Illinois. Due to significant rainfall, the capacity of the Village’s sewer system was exceeded resulting in flooded streets, basements and other low lying areas.

Personnel from the Police, Fire, and Public Works Departments have been deployed to block off streets, set up barricades and address other flooding issues. For your safety, please do not drive or walk through flooded areas.

Residents with flood related concerns should complete the on-line Flooding Event Form. The Village website also contains information regarding sewer services and flood mitigation. You can also contact Public Works at 708-579-2328.
