Smothers Realty Group Welcomes More Than 10 New Brokers

La Grange, IL – November 15, 2017: Smothers Realty Group, an independent real estate brokerage celebrating its 22nd anniversary serving the greater La Grange area in 2018 and consistently ranked Number 1 in the market, added more than 10 new Brokers to the firm over the past year.

Joan Smothers, Managing Broker/Owner, maintains a recruiting strategy focused on hiring professional Brokers with diverse backgrounds, roots in the local community and a passion and enthusiasm for customer service. “In the highly competitive real estate market in the western suburbs of Chicago, I’ve learned that prior real estate experience alone is not necessarily the key differentiator in a successful Broker,” said Smothers. “The culture of our independent brokerage has always placed a high emphasis on people who will devote the one-on-one time, attention and care required to keep buyers and sellers consistently satisfied. Following are highlights of a few of the new Smothers Realty Group Brokers, their local experience and diverse skill sets:

Victoria Dullick – a long-time La Grange resident, Victoria has transitioned to real estate sales after a successful career selling exotic cars for a major luxury car dealership in Chicagoland;

Dalius Balciunas - after taking interest in his family's real estate business over a decade ago, Dalius began his career with Keller Williams Realty. He is also a licensed Broker in Florida and facilitates relocation and vacation home purchases;

Kat McInerney – a graduate of Lyons Township High School and a current resident of La Grange Park, Kat’s business background includes working in the public accounting arena at three of the big four firms. Her real estate passion is working with the senior community;

Lisa Post – previously the owner of an apartment rental agency in Chicago focused on Lincoln Park, Lakeview and other northside neighborhoods, Lisa also worked for the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters. Lisa brings insights about leasing, real estate lending and construction projects to her position as a Broker with Smothers Realty Group;

Natalie Provost – a resident of Countryside, Natalie’s experience includes working with builders, giving her extensive knowledge in remodeling, new construction and design;

Bryan Strand – a La Grange area native, Bryan is an attorney and a sole practitioner in real estate law and has worked for the La Grange Police Department since 2005;

Nina Tagliola – a native of Brookfield and a current resident of North Riverside, Nina brings 12 years of prior banking/lending experience to the brokerage.

Heading into the end of 2017, Smothers Realty Group continues to lead the market share in sales volume in La Grange and La Grange/La Grange Park combined. In addition, Smothers Realty Group has a higher average home sale price of about $562,000 in La Grange compared to its next closest competitor, with an average home sale price of about $389,000 in La Grange.*
