Spots Remain Open For La Grange Park Citizens Police Academy

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Applications are open to join the La Grange Park Citizens Police Academy. The five-week program will be held from Sept. 12 until Oct. 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The academy is designed to give residents a working knowledge of the La Grange Park Police Department and all its services, the village of La Grange Park said in its weekly news bulletin.

Requirements to join are passing a background check and signing a waiver to hold harmless. Priority for the free class will be given to La Grange Park residents and those who work in the town.
