Stolen Cash, Stalking: La Grange Cops
Money was stolen from a house and at a business, according to police reports.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports:
Stolen cash
- A man told police Friday that money was stolen from him while he was being admitted into Bella Terrace nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road.
- A resident in the 600 block of Eighth Avenue told police Saturday that $3,000 in cash was stolen from his home.

- A resident in the 100 block of Brainard Avenue told police Tuesday about being stalked online and in person.
Counterfeit bill
- A man tried to pay for items with a counterfeit $20 bill about 6 a.m. Friday at 7-Eleven, 6 E. 47th St. When the clerk pointed out the counterfeit, the man took the bill and merchandise and ran out.
Scam

- A resident in the 10 block of Seventh Avenue told police Monday that someone posing as a bank employee asked him to withdraw all his money. There was no loss.
- A resident in the 600 block of Mason Drive told police Wednesday about someone posing as a bank employee who asked to confirm activity on an account. There was no loss.
Damage
- Garden decor and a light were reported damaged Tuesday in the 900 block of Country Club Drive.
- The rear window of a car was reported smashed Tuesday in the 500 block of South Madison Avenue. Nothing was stolen.
Theft
- A garden ornament valued at $75 was reported stolen Wednesday from a yard in the 400 block of South Sunset Avenue.
- A bicycle was reported stolen Tuesday from a yard in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue.
No valid license
- Marvin Y. Castaneda-Leon, of Chicago Ridge, was cited about 11:30 a.m. April 25 on North La Grange Road on charges of no valid driver's license and speeding.
