Stolen Ring, Bakery Damage: La Grange Cops

LA GRANGE, IL – In recent days, La Grange police handled cases involving a stolen ring, a broken window at a business, a bicycle theft, a stolen credit card, identity theft and a suspended license. Here is information from the latest reports:
Stolen ring
- A ring valued at $13,000 was reported stolen Sept. 13 from a patient's room at Aspired Living of La Grange, an assisted living facility at 35 Shawmut Ave.

- A window was reported broken about 4 a.m. Sept. 14 at Crumbl Cookies, 1 N. La Grange Road. It was unknown when the window was broken.
Bicycle theft
- A resident on Ashland Avenue saw someone take his neighbor's bicycle from a garage about noon Sept. 13. The bike was valued at $700. The suspect's identity was unknown. No description was given.
Stolen credit card

- An employee at the La Grange hospital, 5101 Willow Springs Road, told police Sept. 15 that her credit card was stolen from her purse while she was at work.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue told police Thursday that he was informed by his bank that someone in New Jersey tried to form a limited liability company in his name. No financial loss was reported.
Suspended license
- A 32-year-old woman from Bellwood was cited about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 9600 block of Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving with no insurance.
