Stolen Tools, Car Burglary: La Grange Cops
Plumbing tools were stolen from a truck while the victim was working in a house, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – In the last few days, La Grange police handled cases involving stolen tools, a car burglary, a DUI, retail theft and fraudulent charges. Here is information from the latest reports:
Stolen tools
- Plumbing tools were stolen from a truck between 11:20 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Spring Avenue. It was while the victim was working inside a house.

- Someone stole about $50 in cash overnight Monday from a car in the 800 block of South La Grange Road.
DUI
- Alexander Rodriguez, 29, of Orland Hills, was arrested about 3 a.m. Feb. 24 at Maple Avenue and La Grange Road on charges of DUI and speeding.
Retail theft

- Sali Pavlov, 36, of Bannockburn, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Monday on a charge of retail theft. It stems from an incident in October at Peak Running, 18 W. Burlington Ave., in which he is accused of stealing clothing valued at $580.
- An Apple Watch display was reported stolen about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at Verizon, 5 S. La Grange Road. The loss was about $1,000.
Fraudulent charges
- Someone stole a credit card from a person at Bella Terra nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road. Fraudulent purchases of $1,105 were made. The card went missing in the last four or five months. The theft was reported Feb. 24.
