Storytown in LaGrange Illinois

On December 20, 2013 the students of St. John’s Lutheran School in LaGrange Illinois were honored to have the group Storytown perform for the school on their last day of school before Christmas vacation.  Storytown is a group of improv performers who received their training at Second City in Chicago.  Performing a story totally from ideas provided by the children, they did a musical about a magic bakery in a castle where they had the problem of not enough cookies for Santa.  Performing today were Jill Olsen who constructed the scenery with the children, Brad Kemp who played the piano, and performers Amber Linde, Kate Carson Groner, Rachel Grandi, and Amanda Murphy.  The hour long show totally improvised by these players was the highlight of our last day celebration.
