Thefts, Egging: La Grange Cops

A converter was stolen from a car in the village, police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Thefts

  • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a blue Honda CRV between 4 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 10 block of Shawmut Avenue.
  • A 10-inch radial arm saw was stolen between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Sunday from the sidewalk area in the 10 block of East Avenue. The saw was valued at $125.

Egging

  • A house was egged between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of South Madison Avenue. The house was not damaged.

No valid license

  • Jose Fuerte Cazales, 46, of Chicago, was cited shortly after midnight Sunday at Ogden and Blancham avenues on charges of having no valid driver's license, failing to dim headlights and following too closely. An officer said Cazales repeatedly hit the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of him.
