Thousands Expected At La Grange Endless Summerfest

The fest will feature live music, food, fireworks, carnival rides and outdoor activities for all ages,

LA GRANGE, IL — Thousands of people will flock to Gordon Park on Aug. 3-5 for Endless Summerfest, a signature three-day summer event with live music, food, fireworks, carnival rides and outdoor activities for all ages, according to the La Grange Business Association.

There will be music headliners that include well known local bands like ARRA, Infinity and Sixteen Candles, as well as multiple experiences throughout the park like carnival thrill rides and games, bingo, meet and greets with storybook princesses, a car show, classic picnic games for families and a human foosball tournament. The festival ends with a free fireworks show on Sunday.

Hours for the festival are Friday from 5 to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday from 12 to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 10 p.m. According to the La Grange Business Association, there is an admission fee of $5 on Friday and Saturday after 5 p.m.; children 12 and under are free. There is no entrance fee for the carnival.

Local establishments will provide food including DiNico's Pizza, Kama Bistro, La Buona Vita, La Cabanita, Moy Yuen, Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten, Nothing Bundt Cakes and We're Nuts. Beer and wine will be available. Prior to the festival opening on Sunday, an interdenominational service organized by local churches will be held on the grounds from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Endless Summerfest is organized by the Park District of La Grange and the La Grange Business Association and held with support from the Village of La Grange and sponsorship by numerous local businesses.
