Threats Made At La Grange Restaurant: Police

An employee told officers he was threatened at the end of his shift, according to the report.

LA GRANGE, IL – An employee at a La Grange restaurant told police last week that a co-worker threatened him after he ordered pizzas at the end of his shift, according to a police report.

The report said the co-worker at Lucca's Pizzeria, 108 W. Burlington Ave., started yelling at the employee and told him to leave. The co-worker said he would hurt the employee in front of the other staff, the report said.

According to the report, the employee said the co-worker kicked an empty pizza box in the back of Lucca's, near the victim's car. The employee said he did not want officers to talk with or arrest his co-worker.

The employee, who struggled speaking English, requested the incident be documented, according to the report. He said he would speak with the owner of Lucca's.
