Vitamin D Proven More Effective than Both Anti-Viral Drugs and Vaccines Against the Flu

The 2013-2014 flu vaccine will have 4 strains compared to the previous 2 strains.  The media, government, medical doctors, pediatricians and others are pushing for individuals to take the vaccine.  They recommend the elderly, the infants, the healthy adults, pregnant women and children.  Even when doctors recommend pregnant women not to consume much tuna or other fish due to the mercury content but they recommend the flu vaccine which contains over 25 times the maximized amount of mercury allowable in the human body.

Besides the devastating effects of having mercury in your body and how it causes so much havoc on your immune system, neurological systems and many other systems in the body, the question is, how effective is the Flu vaccine?  The Cochrane Database Review (The gold standard study on medical effectiveness from pharmaceutical drugs and so forth), shows that the flu vaccine has minimum to no effective in preventing the flu.

Vitamin D has been proven over and over again to prevent the flu and help boost the immune system besides all the many other health benefits this vitamin (actually a neurohormone) does for the body.  Children who had taken a daily dose of Vitamin D ended up having a 50 percent reduction in flu infections.  Anti-viral drugs were only able to reduce flu infections by 8 percent.  This shows that Vitamin D is 600+ percent better at preventing the flu compared to anti-viral drugs.  Research also shows that Vitamin D is 400 to 800 percent more effective than the flu vaccine.

The beautiful thing of taking a vitamin D supplement is it only cost pennies a day and the benefits are astronomical from preventing the flu, boosting one's immune system, helping with diabetes, decreasing the chance of cancer (some up to 75%), reducing breast cancer, improving digestive function and much more.  I highly recommend taking a daily dose of vitamin D.  You would want to find out what your levels are and work with a health professional on what is the best dosage schedule one should be on in order to improve your vitamin D levels to an optimal state.
