Western Springs to Hold Public Meeting on Downtown Improvements

Village looking for public input from residents and business community on how to make downtown area a better place.

The Village of Western Springs is giving residents a chance to share their thoughts and opinions on what they would like to see in the village’s downtown area.

A public workshop will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Western Springs Village Hall, 740 Hillgrove Ave.

Village Manager Patrick Higgins said at the April 13 Village Board meeting that this is the next phase of a plan to revitalize the downtown area, and the meeting will solicit ideas from both the public and business community and other interested ideas in the village.
