What's That Smell In La Grange Neighborhood?
The village confirmed the odor and explained the reason for it.
LA GRANGE, IL – A natural gas smell can be detected in a La Grange neighborhood, the village confirmed Friday morning.
According to a statement, a 2-inch natural gas line is broken in the alley near 512 Burlington Ave., which is an office building.
The gas line was hit during the repair of a sewer manhole in the area, the village said.
