WLTL Rock-a-Thon Success
Students from WLTL and LTTV held their annual fundraiser Rock-A-Thon in February

During the weekend of February 17-19 students from WLTL and LTTV held their annual fundraiser Rock-A-Thon. For 65 straight hours they took to the airwaves and raised funds for their stations from local businesses and community members. This year, the grand total for the fundraiser was $27,283.
This is the fifth highest total students have ever raised, and is more than double last year's total. In addition, students were nominated for various awards at the 83rd Annual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Conference in New York City of which WLTL won the following:

Jake Gripp, Senior (Brookfield) - Most Creative Program
Alex Karan, Senior (La Grange) - Best Station Promo
Alex Karan, Senior (La Grange) - Best Underwriting Spot
Tommy Riordan, Junior (La Grange) - Best Station Promo
Ryan Taylor, Grad '22 (Indian Had Park) - Best Comedy Program
