Women Fight At La Grange Restaurant: Police

LA GRANGE, IL — Two women got into a fight apparently over issues involving a man at a La Grange restaurant earlier this month, police said. The altercation happened about 9 p.m. June 5 in the outdoor seating area in the 10 block of South La Grange Road.

According to a police report, a woman told officers she was with two friends having dinner at the restaurant. When they were preparing to leave, an acquaintance seated behind the woman stood up and threw a drink in the woman's face, police said. Then they started to fight and during the altercation, the woman who was having dinner with friends cut her foot on broken glass. The suspect left the area before police arrived.

The woman who called police said she believed the other woman was upset because of issues involving a man, police said. The woman was attended to by paramedics, but declined to be taken to the hospital. She said she did not wish to a sign a criminal complaint.
