Yoga Studio Holds Grand Reopening in Brookfield
FocusOm Yoga studio in Brookfield is now under new ownership and will be celebrating its grand reopening with a Springfest Celebration.

BROOKFIELD, IL - FocusOm Yoga studio in Brookfield is now under new ownership and will be celebrating its grand reopening with a Springfest Celebration from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 6.
The studio is located at 9045 Monroe Ave., Brookfield. The reopening event will feature local arts and crafts vendors, free mini classes, refreshments, henna tattoos and a labyrinth walk.
According to a release, certified yoga instructor Kirsten Rachford will join Charlene Vickery of the Tranquil Hand in Western Springs in ushering in a new era for FocusOm. Sandie Philipszyn, Vickery’s partner since 2015 is retiring to California this summer. Original owner Judi Harvin remains an integral part of the studio, and offers a yoga teacher training program every fall.

“What sets us apart from other studios is that we teach true authentic yoga and yogic philosophy. Our teachers know how to meet a student wherever they’re at in terms of ability and goals. We pride ourselves on our personal touch and making everyone feel welcome and embraced. We are constantly striving to provide new and interesting classes for our diverse clientele,” said Vickery in a release.
