No previous knowledge of guitar or music necessary! Students will learn the fundamentals of guitar playing, including holding the guitar and pick, proper fret-hand finger position, sight reading, playing by ear, and playing basic songs. Fee includes textbook and CD. Students need to bring their own guitar (acoustic, classical, or electric). Class is for kids 7-14 yrs. old and meets at the Recreation Center (1501 Barnsdale Rd., LP) on Thursdays from 5-6 pm, Jan 23rd – Feb 27th. Cost is $98/resident, $108/non-resident.
