14-Year-Old Killed; Shot Multiple Times In North Chicago
The child exchanged gunfire with the occupant of a vehicle at a North Chicago gas station, according to ABC7.

NORTH CHICAGO, IL — A 14-year-old was killed over the weekend after a gunfire exchange in North Chicago, according to reports.
The child was identified as Lavon’ta Brown, of North Chicago, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office, which added that the boy was shot repeatedly about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Jackson Street.
Brown was killed after engaging with a vehicle full of people at a Citgo gas station, ABC7 reported, noting that when an exchange of gunfire left Brown shot, the vehicle fled and crashed in a Home Depot parking lot in Waukegan, and three people were taken into custody.
