16-Year Old Clocked at 102 MPH on Route 41 Did Not Have License: Police

The boy from North Chicago was spotted going more than 50 over the limit and passing other cars on the shoulder near Gage Lane.

LAKE FOREST, IL - A 16-year-old North Chicago boy was driving faster than 100 miles per hour on Route 41 in Lake Forest when police stopped him and found that he had no valid driver’s license.

Police clocked a silver Honda driving 102 mph and saw the car passing others via the shoulder on the thoroughfare near Gage Lane at 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 19, according to a Lake Forest police report.

When police learned that the boy did not have a driver’s license, they arrested him on charges of no valid driver’s license, speeding 35 or more over the limit, reckless driving and improper passing.
