Accused Stabber Indicted

Shanna Powers faces three felonies, two misdemeanors in connection with December 27 stabbing in Lake Forest.

A Lake Forest woman accused of stabbing another adult in a domestic incident in the 1000 block of Ridge Road in December has been indicted on three felony charges, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Shanna Powers, 51, faces one count of domestic battery with great bodily harm and two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and two misdemeanor counts of domestic battery for physical contact. Police have said Powers used a kitchen knife to stab another adult on December 27 at her Ridge Road residence.
