Announcing Summer Tours of Ragdale Artists' Retreat

Ragdale, the nationally acclaimed artists’ retreat offers monthly, docent-led tours from June – September for individuals and groups. Located on the former country estate of Arts and Crafts architect Howard Van Doren Shaw, a Ragdale tour includes: the historic Ragdale House,
visual artist studios, exquisite gardens, an introduction to the Shaw family history and the artists’ residency program that serves over 150 artists and authors each year.

Public tours take place on Saturdays at 10 am. June 6, July 18, August 22 and September 19. Group tours for 10 or more are scheduled monthly from May through October and must be arranged in advance, preferably on Fridays at 2pm. The only tour date still available is Friday,
October 23.

Ragdale is located at 1230 North Green Bay Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045. Limited parking is available in the Ragdale lot. Tours begin on the front porch of the Ragdale House.

Admission is $10/person. Tickets may be purchased online at www.ragdale.org or at the door. Advance reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.
