Art Gallery Closes in Downtown Lake Forest

"The art business is a tough business," co-owner of Re-Invent Gallery on Wisconsin Avenue says.

LAKE FOREST, L - The Re-Intent Gallery in downtown Lake Forest closed this month after five years of bringing art to the residents of the city.

More than 100 art exhibits were displayed over the last five years at the studio on Wisconsin Avenue, according to a report from the Daily North Shore.

Owners Kristin Mikrut and Cecilia Lanyon decided it was best to close the store, which was the result of years of friendship that began when the pair were in an art class together at the age of ten.
