On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Astellas Pharma US, Inc. will host Executive Women’s Day at the BMW Championship PGA TOUR event at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, IL. The invite-only event will feature keynote speaker Molly Fletcher, a renowned sports agent nicknamed “the female Jerry Maguire” by CNN. Local executive women who attend will have the opportunity to engage in professional, health-related and personal development discussions throughout the day. The event is part of the PGA TOUR’s Women’s Initiative, a multi-year, national effort that focuses on health, overall well-being and professional growth opportunities for women.
Executive Women’s Day has been held at 15 PGA tournaments in the 2013 season, and each event has featured keynote speakers and a panel of female business leaders who discuss a range of topics related to personal and professional growth. At the BMW Championship Executive Women’s Day, speakers include Diane Offereins, Executive Vice President, President - Payment Services, Discover; Kelly Mannard, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Communications, Northern Trust and Collette Taylor, Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Administration, Astellas.
