Thirty six year old Annie Schwartz-Jensen thinks she’s ready for a baby but her maternity leave proves otherwise. As Annie navigates life with her new baby, she realizes that not all Mommies are created equal. But she is determined to find her way, love her baby, her husband, herself.

Julie Halpern is the author of “Get Well Soon”, “Into the Wild Nerd Yonder” and “Don’t Stop Now”, as well as the picture book “Toby and the Snowflakes”. In addition to writing, Julie is a middle-school librarian. She is married to the artist Matthew Cordell, and they live outside Chicago with their daughter and gloriously large Siamese cat, Tobin.


There will be a book signing following the program with books provided by Lake Forest Book Store.
