Author Kevin P. Keating at Lake Forest Book Store

We are pleased to host Kevin Keating and his new work, ”The Captive Condition”. Keating, a former steel mills’ boilermaker who became an English professor and library journey regular until his small first press novel, ”The Natural Order of Things”, was named a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize Art Seidenbaum Award in 2012. His new novel, set in a seemingly idyllic Midwestern college town, is at once chilling, deliciously dark and quirkily hilarious.
