Lake Forest Lake Bluff Running Club
Bring your kids to a fun, free community track event sponsored by the LFLB Running Club!
<ul><li>Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 1–3 p.m.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lake Forest Academy Track: 1500 Kennedy Road; Lake Forest, IL 60045. 
(Note the NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR!)</li></ul>
Club volunteers will lead different age groups of kids (toddler—middle school) through various practice track events. Participants will enjoy trying different relays, dashes and a broad jump. Jenny Spangler—our LFLB club coach and a US Olympian—will be there to help the kids along.
Everyone is a WINNER! Participation ribbons will be presented to the kids with a special frozen treat at the end of the event. Water will also be available. 
IMPORTANT: This is not a drop-off event. A parent/guardian is needed to sign a waiver day of. Please arrive 15 min early to register.
NOTE: Families can also feel free to join us in running/walking during LFLB running club's regular Saturday run—meet up at the Lake Forest Train Station (East) at 8 a.m.
