First Bank of Highland Park (FBHP) is pleased to welcome Bernie’s Book Bank as the featured non-profit organization on the Ruth Fell Wander Community Art Wall throughout the month of October.

The mission of Bernie’s Book Bank is to source, process and distribute quality new and gently used children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk children throughout Chicagoland. Bernie’s Book Bank will distribute 3.6 million books to 360,000 children this year alone.

“It is an honor for Bernie’s Book Bank to be featured on the Ruth Fell Wander Community Art Wall,” says Brian Floriani, Founder and Chief Advancement Officer. “First Bank of Highland Park has been huge supporter of our mission since the very beginning. We’re grateful for their ongoing generosity in the form of volunteer hours, donated children’s books, monetary investment and much more.”
